 Post subject: HDD raw copy error

Hi there,
I have scanned and found many delays and bad sectors on my WD HDD, and I tried to make a raw copy using "HDD Raw Copy Tool", but after a minute, an error appear...
Here is the log:

Your data is probably recoverable, but you will need a hardware imager to do the job efficiently. There are some dos based programs that might get the job done (Media Tools Pro), but the cost of the software is close to what you would pay a pro to do it with a HW imager.

Hi,

Your only DIY hope ( & acxcepting the risks) is to try & clone the drive, sector by sector, using a tool such as ddrescue which understands how to work around bad media.

Failing that as previously mentioned a hardware imager something like a DDI or Atola for an example but due to the cost of these it would be cheaper to get a dr pro to recover your data.
