SMART Reset Instable

May 16th, 2012, 16:32

working with a case which is very slow in response.

I did SMART RESET, worked fine upto 280000000 sectors, thn again slow response, checked SMART STATUS again, shows ERROR, then Again did SMART RESET, completes successfully, but during clone it is found slow in access, rechecked SMART again in ERROR, it's happening repeatedly.

Thn also did TRANSLATOR REGENERATION, still SMART instable.

It's WD3200BMVV-11DCLS0

FYI: during FW Defects scan - 0004 is found corrupt., just ignored it and the drive was cloning fine upto 280000000 sectors
