My hard drive is WD400BB. Now the BIOS detects it as WDC ROM MODEL - SABRE - has damaged the BIOS. As I can update the firmware to get the data? I have no PC-3000 PCI card

I don't think it is a BIOS problem. It's likely either heads or PCB, depending upon the full model number. So no, updating the firmware will not help you.
