Terminal just gives garbage:

any ideas? Not seen this before, and I am terrible with Seagate FW issues....

Are you sure your baud rate is correct?

Should be 38400 as I recall.

thanks for the input. baud rate is fine, 9600, atola default. tested: good similar disks read fine.

any more ideas?

FW is CC66, stays bsy
