Got a case HD502HJ. Found PCB damage, while I was checking then found it's 00263A PCB attached with the HDD and by searching found the PCB is from usually HD503HI.
Then I asked customer where is the ORIGINAL PCB?
Replied - 15days ago the HDD was not working, and worked after swapping the PCB (Attached PCB found 00263A), after 15days of work, again it stopped working and he doesn't have the original PCB.
I guess the original PCB was 00352A with ROM Chip. Then how is it possible to get the drive working without replacing the ROM (Ok, taking into concern than the DONOR PCB had SAME ROM VERSION.) But the replaced PCB is different series - 00263A... How can it be possible that it's working? Is customer lying me? But NO - I also confirmed he is telling the truth by talking to the technical guy, the technical guy also confirmed the same scenario.
What are your thoughts about the case?

Well, what I have done so far...
Replaced PCB by 00352A (attached one is 00263A), swapped ROM, didn't work.
Did HotSwap to get access to SA but SA is not accessible.

Yes, I use SD tools, previously successfully restored Samsung drives by hotswap but by using a another tool (cheap tool but works fine)
Also i did hotswap earlier on other Samsung HDD and able to access SA by SD tool even with this model.
but for this drive... it came up with !!!
anyway, i will collect a 00263A PCB for this case also and will see.
