i have 2 custions for seagate disk, the first is if i have the master password i can know the user pasword ?
an the second is, the program mhdd can read the ide disk ? the program only detected the ata disk in my computer

If you didn't set password by yourself, consider rather there is something wrong with device.
Password protected disk would be detected by BIOS and give you prompt for entering password during boot time.
