Seagate laptop hd error

July 30th, 2012, 3:18

Hi,
I am getting a #01-07 hard drive error when I run the hard drive test.
I tried formatting while installing windows 7 and by partition magic ...
Is there any other software which I can try or go for a new hard drive?

Regards,
Harish

This usually means some read/write element is faulty (ie. heads). I wouldn't trust that drive.
