I'm aware of that and I'm pretty sure the OP too, because he/she said the following:Be aware that this is not a data recovery solution. It is it seems resolving a Windows install/format issue.
Zero filling a drive is destructive to the data.
So he/she tried to format/repartition the drive with no success. I was in the same situation as him/her and I solved in this way. Of course, he/she could clone the disk to another drive before attempting destructive tasks, and naturally, I would recommend that.i thought it may requires complete format but as i used a thierd party software like Hiren boot CD it gives the message of Hard disk 64: i/o error durring the use of partitioning tool option in HBCD
