Hi, i have locked hdd: Model: Seagate ST9120822AS, Firmware Revision: 3.ALD. can you tell is there way to unlock it without using some expencive tools "i dont mind too lose all data".

Perhaps output from diagnostic terminal (3 wire LVTTL converter and Hyper Terminal) can shed more light.
