Fujitsu MHW2120BH click of death?

September 4th, 2012, 10:30

I got this drive out of the recycling at work. Its a Fujitsu MHW2120BH 120gb 2.5" Anyone know what's wrong with it?
It spins up fine but just keeps moving the heads back and forth. Looks like it can't read the system area?

Any ideas?

Here Here is a quick video, sorry for the funny link its from my SkyDrive :)

Lol anyone need a PCB? :)

Is there a chance this is a PCB related issue, or is it likely just mechanical? This is another one that makes the POST hang for a while and is never detected.
