Hi All,
Require some diagnostic assistance.
Details:
Seagate ST32000524AS
FW: CC94
Drive powers up, readies.
Model, FW, Serial, PN and LBA are all reported correctly.
Sector view works, for 3-4 sectors, before failure.
The model, serial and PN are then corrupted.
HD Doctor attempts to load from drive but fails - stating the drive is locked.
Customer insists no encryption or password has been set on the drive.
No abnormal sounds.
When the drive is plugged into windows, loads full directory before failing after 2-3 seconds.
Will attempt a terminal output momentarily.
