Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Few days ago i bought the SEAGATE BARRACUDA 7200.11 ST31500341AS 1.5TB Firmware CC1H.
I use it for storage, movies, videos, music, programs etc
Everytime i start he pc i hear a sound coming from the hard drive a double click a "click-click"
Two (2) clicks and thats it. I have the hard drive for few days and is working just fine.
I will really like to know,is that normal or the hard drive is dying? Because i am thinking to buy one more the same.
Thank you!

Hi,thanks for replying.
for now i dont have anything for recording use.
Just an extra tip:
The hdd clicks
only on computer startup and
only during the computer shutdown.
1 click on startup and 1 click when the pc is shutting down.
