Hi...
In the last few days Windows 7 start to inform me that my disk is damaged and warn me that I need to make backup and replace him. I download MHDD and start surface test, and it it is working right now, and it is stuck on 5,7% in the last three hours. Till this procent, it said that there is UNC 367 and AMNF 122. During the scanning, it show lot of Warnings and Errors?
Is my disk dying, and should be worried? I already make backup.
Thank you

Disk is dying and if you continue like that it will soon be game over.
If data is important stop this and copy while you still can.
Even better is to clone your drive if that is possible.

clone is better than backup- as no need to reinstall. Use your new drive. Suggest that you just trash this one as is is in process of dieing. Yes they can be refurbished. Is it worth it- for all general purposes the answer is no. There are members here that can and do do this comercially and make a living at it- but it only makes sense in quantities. Running the diagnostics will in all probability finish off the drive quicker.

To me it's not going to die YET. I am confident I could still squeeze out some years of life out of it with some limitations, but need to have the drive.
There's little or nothing an end user can do anyway.
