hello , i am looking for a head stack replacement donor for a hitachi drive .
i found a donor that matches the full model number + part# + the MLC
but it's a "Hitachi travelstar" instead of "hitachi" .
what do you think ?

That should do it, + sometimes manufacturing country (Thailand, China...)

I never look at MLC or P/N for the Hitachis.

for donors , i use the guide provided by donordrives at
http://www.donordrives.com/hard-drive-pcb-donor-matchand till now it didn't disappoint me

but it's pretty hard to get a working donor according to the terms that i should match .
can u please write your critiria of matching donors for the HDDs manufacures ?
