Put the original board back onto your good drive and rebuild with your good drive.

Two weeks ago, I had a Raid5 array go out with TWO clickers. One of the drives wasn't too bad (I think), so I Ran the Linux DD command to "clone" the data onto an identical drive. I also moved the logic board over onto the identical drive, as I noticed the Raid unit keeps track of HDD serial numbers.
Anyway, the rebuild keeps dying when it gets to the "imposter" hard drive I created. 1.75TB of data. I backed up most of the stuff, but there's enough on there to make me depressed and sad.
Anyway, thanks for reading this, and if anyone is interested, the drives were WD2500 SATAs.
As I build a new system, I hope you guys don't mind if I ask some questions about reliability.
Thanks
