Old WD MDL breakdown

January 2nd, 2013, 9:21

WD ENTERPRISE SCSI HD
MDL: WDE18310-0040A3

First part looks like:
WD Enterprise, 18GB, "3" - not sure, 10 - 10K rpm

Second part, have some idea, but not sure.

Does anybody how to breakdown the MDL in detail for this drive, especially the 2nd part of it "0040A3"?

Guesses are welcome as well.

Thanks in advance
