How to repiar AList for Samsung drive?

January 7th, 2013, 14:17

Hi all,

I got an old IDE Samsung drive: SP0411N 40GB with a burnt PCB.
I got a donor drive but there is no any external rom chip over the boards which I can swap. The rom data located inside the CPU chip which can be acchive only by terminal while the pcb is alive.
I tried to make an hot-swap between the donor and the patient drive and succeeded to retrive all the modules but the AList module out of the patient drive.
The drive belongs to pango family. Without this module I can't achive access to the user data by hot-swap method.
Is there any way to repair the AList or to retrive it from the patient drive?

Best Regards,

Alist is not necessary for recovery.

I followed this menual:
http://acelaboratory.ru/forum/viewtopic ... 05d9bbd581

It says that I have to write the AList module too. But the problem is that I can't retrive this module.
I wrote to the donor the other exist modules and made the hot swap (standby-> remove the pcb-> put on the patient drive -> reclibration) and still does not have any access to the user data.
What do you suggest?
Should I run a command to clear the AList?
I guess that the only reason that I havn't got access to the data is the fact that I didn't got the Alist from the patient drive.
(The drive doesn't make any clicking sound).
Do you have any other theory?

Many Thanks!

The PCB's for this model are interchangeble. No adaptive data on the PCB.
Just swap, not hot swap.
