Why are Data Recovery tools not sold the standard way, using Credit Cards though VISA or other Applets ?

I have visited many sites but have not encountered one that use the standard way, they do not even have information about the payment method. One has to contact them by Email to get the information. All that I contacted want Credit Card Information or Wire Transfer. Wyh ???

The first thing that comes to mind is the legislation in the countries the tools are made in. Russia, Serbia....lots of red tape.

There are sometimes other options, Western Union for example.

It's as Nick_CT says... purely RED TAPE... Some countries cannot accept PayPal payments and some cant even accept credit or debit cards..... Bank Transfer is the only way to deal with these companies...

Just do your research BEFORE parting with your hard earned.... but if your concerns are with any of the well known companies often mentioned in this forum (ACE, HDD Surgery, Atola) then you really have no worries...
