I am trying to figure out what cases need to use short points and what is the best way to find the short points on boards. I have read several people that say it should be easy by looking but I am just unsure of what I am looking for. I think only the newer 7200.11 and newer drives which would mean like 5400.6 laptop drives can need this to access the serial output properly. Can anyone help clear any of this up for me??
