Faster Raw copy tool

Dear forumers, is there a faster raw copy tool in the market ? HDDgurusº raw copy tool is quite slow. It takes about thtitten hours to copy a 500 GB HDD !

If it is taking 13 hours (I assume that is what you mean), then the main problem is unlikely to be that utility. :) The problem will likely be the behaviour of that specific drive (or your PC, or Windows driver behaviour etc).

For several reasons I don't use that utility, but from the limited info you've given, I would be looking elsewhere for the cause of slow cloning, since that may affect the speed of other tools too. Depending on your specific requirements, there are many cloning utilities which members have mentioned in previous threads - which ones have you tried? (e.g. DMDE, HDDClone, GNU ddrescue, MTP etc. - search the forum for previous threads for more suggestions) Note that for fastest speed in specific situations, some will benefit from tuning of the I/O settings which are used, but you may find that on that drive, perhaps no software-only cloning utility will be faster.
