I've got discs D and E - both are logical and physically belongs to one drive.

D is empty, E is full of files.

I tried to run Acronis Disk Director 11 Home and join D to E. After 50% the transaction froze. I waited 30 minutes. After that I restarted the operation system. The join operation hasn't been commited.

Otherwise, after restart I'm getting normal folder names and normal file names on disc E. But when I play mp3-file, it plays parts from different other songs, not that song. Some video files stopped to play as well. The files parts are mixed.

What to do? Which recovery program helps to return the files to their normal state? Can I rollback to the date before I ran Disk Director?
