Hi!

I have problem with my HDD. When I plug it nothing happens. Its bleeping blue once and then light turns green. Theres also a "specific windows sound" when you disconect a device.

Disc sound quite OK, theres no strange sounds, maybe its even too silent.

Also it wasnt damaged in any way, no hitting and it wasnt dropped etc

I tried it on other PC but same. And before it was working well.

Theres no problem with USB in my computer - other devices works OK.

Maybe theres someting with the cable but now I dont have other cable to check it. I have normal cable, with only one plug (but as i said it was working perfectly in the past)

what green light means?

And the main question is how to fix it?

Maybe you had same problem and you won :)

There is obviously a reason for the issues you have, which are likely physical. If your data is important to you, find a local lab that you can trust in your area, "Earth," and have them assess the damage and quote you a cost to recover your files.

If your data is not important, contact the manufacturer and send the drive back for an RMA replacement, assuming it is still under warranty. Otherwise, scrap it and buy a new drive.

Do you have important data in the drive which you want to recover ?
Or do you want to only reuse the drive ?

DIY on drives with important data is not advised.

Firstly check with a different cable in a different system to be sure the problem is only with the drive .
Connect it to a USB port and listen /feel if the drive spinning up .

If you don't want data from the drive, check if you still have warranty and RMA it.

If you have data which is important and want to recover from the drive , contact a DR pro , its not worth DIY risks.

If you still want to try DIY options, chances are that the problem may be loose/dry solder of the USB connector .But you will need to open the case to test. You will need some basic testing tools and electronic knowledge to proceed.

Maybe...

The LED lights up blue when initially plugged in, but if the host or cable is not USB3 capable, the LED will turn green after a couple of seconds and remain green until it is later unplugged.

But a better testing procedure is necessary in order to determine what the culprit is.

Perhaps, but not necessarily. You have already received good comments from other members, however you are not being fair IMHO - you keep asking questions, but without answering those questions you have received e.g. from sathyan. If you answer all his questions clearly, fully and carefully, that will help readers to give appropriate advice.

Is the data in the drive important ?
If yes, then don't try to DIY .

Try another working cable to isolate/rule-out cable fault.

And if you are not confident, do not open the case , it will make matters worse, seek help from someone who has the right tools and knowledge.

I'm not confident to try to open the case because that is my friend's HDD. His cable is always twisted in strange way :P
I'm not an expert with these cables but it's USB 3.0 to "normal" USB. And the green light is rather something unusual as it always has a blue light. Could it be matter of too low voltage as the cable is damaged?

Unfortunately, I dont have second cable usb 3.0 to normal and I can't try my "Y" double cable because it doesnt have 3.0

Data isn't so important I think.

You might want to find out for sure first before trying anything that could render the data unrecoverable.

How do UVCView and HD Sentinel identify the drive?

UVCVIew talks to the USB-SATA bridge IC inside the enclosure (or on the drive's PCB) whereas HD Sentinel attempts to communicate with the HDD behind the bridge.
