Hi ! can't you write them back via enumeration ?
If you can't write them back to restore the drive that way you will need to hot swap or to use better tools to load from file and write sa.
I'm still ofering to take a look at the drive too, if you want.
If you want to DIY i guess that a hot swap is the better option for you now.

No, i can't right them via enumeration...
I also loaded mod from file, but still i can't write them on SA.

Maybe i'm doing something wrong, or WDR bug, or it's just the faulty drive...
Hot swap may work, but need to buy an identical drive (not an option).

What about "loader" created with Sediv?
Can i use it with WDR?

If you can't even buy a compatible drive, then yes i agree, it's game over.
Save the drive for a later time when you can pay for professional recovery or at least when you can get an identical drive.
Your version of WDR doesn't allow to load from a loader file. Did you try with SeDiv ?

Sediv free version is not able to load from loader, only generates it (which is the same of module 11).
Does WDR 6.0 able to load the loader?
How?

Maybe i understood what's wrong on head map...
If i push the button in the red circle, it counts only 1 head:

So i think it can't load SA because 5 heads are off or not counted in head map...
It makes sense for you?

WDR full (aka 6.0) can load from loader file, using the load perm ovl from file or load overlay from file option.

You have a messed up head map.
Tick the 4 first ones and untick the others. Then save.

No!

0,1,2,5,6,7 is valid head map for SadleG6 drives

Logical vs Physical

Not always the same

Typical 2Tb SadleG6 has physical 0,1,2,3,4,5 (i.e. all populated) but logical (ROM head map) 0,1,2,5,6,7

As a typical 500Gb Tornado have 2,3,4,5,6,7 in ROM, but 0,1 are not physically missing.

I have no idea how WDR (or whatever software he used) decides which is which for "de-popping".

If rom head map is 0,1,2,5,6,7, what physical head has been turned off?
(maybe head 5) :?:

At this point im confused. I don't know.
I was under the impression that the software would depop the physical head, aparently it depops the logic one ? That is why it states depop virtual head ?
