good evening ..
so a customer wants his data burned into DVD (data ~2Giga).
trying to burn the recovered files using windows 7 default burn tool , is givving errors (~580 errors) because of long files names .
trying to compress the recovered folder using winrar to burn one big rar file , is givving an error also !! that some files names are too long .
any one passed on this situation before ?
thank you

What was the filesystem type, which originally held the customer's files? In other words - was it an NTFS filesystem on the hard disk, which you recovered the files from, or some other filesystem type (explain which one) that you recovered the files from?

You need to move those folders that have long filenames closer to the root directory.

Hi Dear Friend Raven4d
Just Move It To Root Directory Like C:your Folder Or D:/Your Folder And Make ISO Image Using UltraIso
And Burn That ISO Image Or Compress That ISO With Winrar And Burn It.
