HARD RECOVER
 Post subject: How Can i write Rom In Wd marvell ??

i am trying to write the rom in wd drive i have all time failure rom is write successfull but after write the rom i am switched off the drive and try switched on but drive is not spin i have change rom chip drive is spin up try to second time face same problem how can i match the rom in drive plz any suggestion

What tool you using to write rom?

i am using pc 3000

and i am write a rom from wd marvell sabre 53 series is'nt working how can i solve this??

are you sure you are writing the write rom over? typically when i see rom copies that cause the drive not to spin (brick the PCB) , it is that the rom you are transferring is damaged. or completely not compatible.

Upload the ROM here. I can check it if it looks ok with hex editor.

Are you sure that the drive stops spinning when you flash the ROM ? Or that it will not power up again when you flash the ROM ?
If that is the case your ROM is bad or totaly not compatible with PCB or something not working fine with your PC-3000 ....
It's the UDMA or pirated PCI ?
Pirated PCI have some problems/bugs and this might be one of them ...

Post the ROM for us to take a look using Hex Editor !!!
