WD2500AAJS - 75B4A0
Translator regeneration
Regeneration method..................... : Use P-List only
Error Code : 3C0A....................... : FMT ERR CAPACITY

P-list looks good. Obtained via SA Region Editor.

Any insight on what may cause this error? Or any hints on what the error means? Or where to look for answer?

Thanks

Been busy, sorry.
No, the patient was killing heads.

I did overlook the fact that my sma hot swap donor was a 320GB (patient was 250GB). So, obviously higher LBA, potentially what may have been the cause for the error.

I sourced another donor to prep for sma hot swap, same capacity as patient and attempted the trans regen and now the regen process kept going passed the max LBA. Still not quite sure why.

Will experiment some more when having more free time.
