I have a Seagate ST9500420AS FW:0006HPM1 not working, the ROM chip was broken. Try another PCB´s with same firware but still not working, when connected with SD HD Doctor via terminal got lots of erros.

Any chance to recover from ROM damaged?

Out of curiosity, ROM is broken because it was electrically broken or physically broken during removal ?
