How to remove Fujitsu hard disk password/ Unlock (Salvation Data)
Connect hard disk to HD Doctor TOSHIBA/FUJITSU and open FUJITSU Program,
Connect Jumper connection cables also as shown in picture, Yellow and Green in centre 2 points only
Of course connect terminal cable to jumper connection cable (green/yellow ) as well
Select hard disk family and Hard disk type (SATA/IDE)
Now you are ready to unlock it, click on unlock to remove the password, (it ll take 20 to 30 seconds)
Power off and power on again, VIEW SECTORS to confirm unlocking

There are many families where you can have a 320 GB drive, and we were talking about FUJITSU not TOSHIBA.

Again, I asked a plain and simple question :

"Did you test it on MHV PL and RECENT Toshiba ?"

If it was an old drive , "maybe" SD tool (and other too) DO work. On more RECENT and also other specific families, THEY DON'T.

FYI
It's not about "recent" it's about FW revision on Toshiba drives
Also about MHV drives - some of them do work the old way, its about specific config of the drive

Also I understand what BlackST is trying to say and I agree that it is very unlikely that the tool from above would be able to remove ATA password on the drives he has in mind :)

Actually all the ATA locked MHV I had in my hands were NOT "simply" un-lockable , let alone with SD tools, that's it. Didn't notice the configuration or revision, to be honest. Same for Toshiba.

You just need to buy a fresh one, that nobody used before, which obviously has no interest for a DR person, because we usually deal with used hard drives

But anyway it is possible to remove password on all Fujitsu drives, just not with commercial tools.
