Hi,
The HDD with "0 LBA" problem. MODEL/SN/FW detects fine.
I can read all modules except module "002B", also I can read all CP (ROM & RAM). So, r/w head should be fine.

I am having the error on "ST9500325AS" 5400.6.

Before proceeding to fix the 0 LBA, I want to be sure about "Partial Sector Accessibility".
SD has a feature to regarding this Issue. Anyone successfully worked with this feature for 5400.6 drives yet?

Following log is generated from the HDD

Code:
Rst 0x08M

RW cmd 0002 req = 89 3E 00 00 17 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 08 8C 08 00 87 97 09 00 08 8C 08 00

002b is related directly to translator so you need to regen translator, but before you do anything you should check output from "V40" at "T>"
