Hi everyone,
I would like to know about the steps of HDD operation when a computer is turned ON. Where would be head of an HDD before it starts reading the OS? or the head enters the boot sector?. During the BIOS menu is accessed or in the BIOS password screen, is the HDD head is in the landing zone or in the data area?

Hi,

If you read the information posted here about how hdd works and about FW/SA, you will have the answers for those I think.
