The OGT900 utility has an optional "load manufacturing microcode before microcode update" selection. I inquiring because I've never used this before. I have a hdd that won't upgrade and wondered how to use this function as I actually believe I have the manufacturers server microcode update besides the vendor update microcode. So far I haven't gotten this to work and Hitachi is not helpful at all.

Should have included OGT900 Niagara utility.
