Samsung HD103SJ - LED 1701 Error

Hi

Got a Samsung HD103SJ. Giving me the error below. Cant see any damage to PCB. Stays busy with draw on 5v and 12v. No sounds at all. Cant find anything about an LED 1701 issue but thinking it may be a motor controller issue? Have cleaned contacts but no odds.

Second issue, does this PCB have an external ROM?

To me it seems the spindle controller is damaged
Has ext ROM

There is a serial flash memory (Winbond 25xxxxx) to the left of the Samsung SDRAM.

What voltages do you measure at the motor terminals?

Can you measure any voltage on the 1R0 spindle current sense resistors near the motor controller? One 1R0 array senses the spindle, the other senses the VCM current. The former would be connected to ground at one end.
