external unallocated drive

Hi, i made a stupid mistake when i want to use your "Hard Disk Low Level Format Tool" i chose wrong hard drive but i stop it fast at beginning.
now my external 1TB hard drive with more than 500GB of data showing as unallocated drive in disk management :(
how can i restore my data and hard drive without losing my files?
i getting lose my mind please help :(

hello, try with some recovery software like R-Studio http://www.data-recovery-software.net/, Get Data Back http://www.runtime.org/data-recovery-software.htm or ask some pro for support

There will be a backup boot sector at the end of your disk, any decent software will be able to reconstruct your volume with good structure, minus anything damaged during the initial writing

i force to format it but i do a quick format. and now it's under data recovery with "Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery - Technical" software i don't know is it gonna work for me or not:( is it recover data correctly? is it a good software? oh god:(

maybe look elsewhere on the forum for how to take an image of the drive first so you don't totally lose everything trying to get data back. There was a realy good tutorial about doing it in Linux.

thank you all, i tried with two different software but all recovered data is unusable...
i get carefree about it nothing happen just 500gb of data lost :)) never mind
