Hello HDD Experts/GURUS..

I'm From India and my precious whole drive got formatted :( so been reading about Testdisk recovery and all, so i got little confidence about recovery but my little joy turn into a bad nightmare cause it detected when linux formatted to one partition and not familiar with Linux so well so need windows to try Testdisk but also don't want to ruin what's Linux already formatted to one partition and here's the nightmare starts at this point which is, i brought my hard disk at friend place and try to recover it but when i brought my HDD through bag to at my friend place the HDD little bit experienced shock or whatever it is and when i try to connect, boom !! system didn't recognize at my friend's computer so checked on other system and in BIOS as well but same problem also i heard a little clicks like 3-4 times when i connected to PC after that didn't hear clicks or any sound so i didn't like the sound of it so checked on net so other guys called it BSY fix and some says spindle or head damaged so what should i do.. ?? :?:

I have three year old Seagate HDD and no warranty so i can try to extract my data anyway possible in reasonable rate :

ST31000524AS 1TB Barracuda 7200.12
Firmware: JC45
S/N: 5VP818T9

I watched many videos of laptop hard disk mostly suffer this problem cause of external shock and all so they shown that head taken off on platter to reinitialize the head position automatically.
so i thought i could do my DIY at home so opened my drive in clean room and try the move the head ( Didn't touch head at all) by just turning the center spindle anticlockwise but head move easily near center area but when i turn it more it stuck at near end of platter i think it must be touching to the platter but i thought its not going afterwards that so placed the head at the end of the circular platter and enclosed the case and connected to the system and then heard the little short beep sound continuously from hard drive so checked on net that saying beep coming because of head touching to platter so it's not detecting in BIOS or whatsoever, so i moved the head where it previously located and voila beep is gone still not detecting in System or in BIOS, so it got me wondering is the head is gone bad or platter position is disturbed ?? :(

I just need to detect my hard drive somehow, is there any way to possible to fix it please let me know ASAP, i really need this..

P.S : Sorry for bad English

Very likely heads now are damaged.
If heads were still ok after experienced shock when you brought hdd to you friend, now are dead at 100% after you moved them and stuck on surface.
Probably now platers are also scratched (and of course contaminated).

If data recovery is still possible it would cost a lot now, sorry :?

Not a DIY case now, whatever you think. To me, original problem was either a weak head or firmware, now who knows ? Have the drive checked by a pro in pro environment.
