The description for the Hitachi Deskstar model 500GB Hitachi Deskstar HUA721050KLA330 3.5" SATA Hard Drive says at one point that it is available as 500 or 1 Tb etc.
The HDD Low Level tool says it can format to the original full capacity of an HD.
How would this apply to the Hitachi?
