Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

This drive was dropped and has had a head swap. There is no visible platter damage, but there may well be some. The drive will eventually come DRD (on occasions) and I have managed to get a back up of HDD resources. In Data Extractor the drive will read very slowly, it reacts almost like it has the Pending Bug with the drive working away in the background. I have attached the terminal output as it changed depending on whats happening to the drive at any particular time. This could be platter damage, but your input would be appreciated.
