WD5000AAKS disconnects and reconnects constantly in Windows

Finally i reprogram the WD3200AAJS pcb and leave the 8MB DRAM ic.
Drive boot ok but a bit slow, take an image with Media Tools Pro, no bad sectors, check disk(image) for correct the problems on filesystem caused by continuous disconnects-reconnects.
Now drive is ok and data accessed!

Last thing is to replace DRAM on old pcb to find out if was the reason for disconnects..

I would compare the voltages at J1.

I hope by "accessed" you mean backed up to another drive!

This was an early step, before reprogram! Had check voltages at J1 from AAKS pcb and compare them with AAJS pcb.
Was exactly the same!

Now when i find time i will replace DRAM from AAJS to AAKS to see what happens, till the end of week i guess!

Yes, after image creation on another drive, filesystem was repaired and all data is ok on cloned drive!
Patient(with donor pcb) needs filesystem repair or format and original pcb needs time to figure out the cause!
I'll do it, but is 2nd priority now!
