If you don't have expesive tools to do that you can use hyper terminal using a TTL cable

ok, its working again - problem witch ttl cont.

in atachments
log from putty
and sys file 93.

i see enetreing commands to disable correction and etc. witchout efect.
after power down and power up correction disable bit still = 0

DM series drives tend to clone/image in a very stable manner in PIO mode.
Problem with it is that you will get only 1300-1400kb/s and that will mean 120 GB a day.
You will need 2 8-10 days to clone the 2TB drive in PIO assuming you don't have many bad blocks.

Still better than 500-600KB/s
But I doubt he is gonna get it, I'm thinking degraded/ contaminated heads

after jermy help i have avg. speed 4000kB/s but still after some time disk stop be accesable - ddrescue stop revocer , fast count errorzise and finsih.
i must go to termianl /1 N1 -clear smart and can contionue recover.
Anny ideas?
