AIUI, you can access the drive's security settings in terminal mode. If you don't know the location of the Tx/Rx pins, then you could experiment with the obvious candidates, or you could obtain a SATA board with the same MCU and locate the Tx/Rx pins on the MCU by working back from the known Tx/Rx jumper pins. Now locate these same MCU pins on your patient and trace them to your likely suspects.
