Can you give more details?

1. What are the symptoms?
2. Does the drive ID in your system?
3. How much technical knowledge do you have?
4. What kind of data recovery tools and equipment do you have?

If the data is needed urgently, I recommend that you contact a trustworthy data recovery lab for assistance before further damage is caused by DIY efforts.

hi galaxy

If it really is urgent you need to take this to a data recovery professional to attach to hardware that can handle / bypass bad sectors.

If you try this job yourself, without specialist gear, you run the risk of making matters worse.

So...
If taking to a Pro is not an option and the drive is not too damaged, you could try to boot it from a Linux Live CD and see if you can find anything using a file browser.

If this proves unsuitable, you could try ddrescue (linux) to create a full disk image and recover files from that.

This is not a job for someone with no experience of linux or command line interface though.
