Hi guys, my name is Eduar and i have a little problem with seagate's 7200.14 family.
I have tried many times ago the BSY-problem solution guide to connect 7200.11 seagates by serial conection. But now i have a ST3000DM001 and a ST1000DM001, and when i start the prompt, i cant see anything, is like the sequence Ctrl+Z is not correct or the voltages levels are wrong, i have a DKU cable, and i am not sure if this adapter also can be used to connect a 7200.14 disc.
Please, someone could tell me what is the problem here??
Sorry for my English

you need to modify your terminal cable
add 10 K resistor + diode for TX and same to RX
these HDD work on 1.8 V
schematics will be same as here
