Photocopier Document Retrieval Canon Imagerunner 3235i

October 10th, 2014, 23:35

Anyone know of a relatively easy way to access the hard drive documents of a Canon ImageRunner 3235i photocopier?

Or possible ideas?

I'm trying to retrieve the documents for a civil lawsuit.

Obviously, I can access the hard drive, but I think the data is formatted in a way that Windows won't recognize natively.

FWIW, the service manual states that an optional encryption kit was available for this model:
http://www.oasq.net/d/file/copy/9101d13 ... 5-sg02.pdf

Could that be part of the problem?

You mean, perhaps they didn't purchase the encryption kit? That'd make things easier.

Have you tried to search the partitions for FAT (I am assuming fat32) but could be anything.

have you tried searching with Partition Find and Mount or DMDE

what have you tried?
