 Post subject: heads don't move

back to learn more. i have a western digital 2.5" drive. the heads don't move at all. the platters spin and the drive makes a high pitch squealing sound. what problems could be causing this?

Head is the main problem. It tries to set number of times to read the data and give up. Try swapping switching board.
