Ever get the feeling that someone might have powered on the failed hard drive a little too long?

A little bit of rubbing compound should polish that right up!

The problem was that he didn't let it run long enough. It takes a long time for it to move the dust particles around and put the surface back together again. Oh, sorry, he would need HDDRenerator for that.

he could have started the rest on the end of his work day before the weekend and did not return to work. But somehow perhaps he liked the noise the hdd was making...

Nope. I could work on it in the garage and not get it dirtier. It's a curious pattern, almost as if the "data" has been re-deposited on a wet platter. Freezer treatment, maybe? Of course they will deny it.

I love it when they say "I wasn't sure if I should turn it off when it started making a funny noise..but the DATA was so important I tried everything to get it.."

I hope closure is at least a consolation!

That's simply unexplainable to average customer unfortunately.


DO NOT TRY if you need DATA!!!

We should made an info video or promo materials all together just to gain as low as we can of these cases.


And best tool for hdd data recovery is HDDTune pro
