your HDD go directly to F-Level
F-level mean Factory Level
Mask Rom
this is Rom problem
you need to write compatible rom for your HDD
or swap pcb

This is Seagate 7200.10, change the PCB. Shouldn't be a problem, find the PCB with the same ROM version.
Although there's a slight chance of heads stiction.

I believe Seagate 7200.10 do not have adaptive in ROM, so you can replace the PCB by another one as long as the firmware and model are exactly the same (ROM code must match the app code on the platter, etc .... )
Otherwise the drive will drop to F>
