hello,i have a Seagate 3t,when I check its status in hdtunepro, the c7's value became 1.i think it shouldn't be a big problem, but it's annoying.and I just want to clear its smart, because I have much data on it.can someone tell me which commands I should use?thanks!

If your drive is still functioning, copy data to another source and attempt repair.
Seagate commands posted all over internet.

The N1 command should be safe to use and you shouldn't loose any data by using it, but it's strongly advice to BACK UP all of your data if you are going to use ttl/terminal commands on the drive as we never can tell when things might go wrong.
Also N1 command will NOT FIX any drive problem. Whatever caused the value to change will still be present, it will just re-set the smart tables but that doesn't mean that the drive will be on a better state and safe to use.

I see, thank you.and I believe my drive is in good status.can I ask you two more questions?
1.is this drive using 1.8v ttl?
2.what is the different between N1 and N1,22?I can't understand.
thank you again!

N1 by itself will not work unless you validate it with ,22.

I got it.thanks!
