I have seagate 160GB SATA HDD.

here is what happened.

I got a JMicron based 363 (PCI-e) sata card, which i modded for ahci only using this ROM

i installed the drive on the aforementioned card, then i got a new motherboard and it has more sata ports and switched the drive to the onboard sata ports, but now windows detects it as intel scsci raid volume and shows it as 300gb. Disk manager wont intialize it and gives crc error.

i got to a partial solution, it only happens when i have Intel Rapid Stroage driver installed, if i dont install it then it is detected normally. I formatted the harddrive on the onboard controller but still the same happens, as soon as i install intel rapid storage, it is detected as scisi raid and without it its works normally.
Formatting the hdd did not help, also i changed windows but i think the raid config or something like that is stored on HDD rom i guess ? or i am doing something wrong.

please help.
