Seagate ST3100528AS 7200.12 Stops cloning after 507 GB

Hey there,
Just seeing if anyone else has come across a similar problem that I am getting with a drive I am working on.

It is a 1 TB Seagate 7200.12 Drive.

I can image the first 507 Gigs approx, rest of the drive will not image though.
Does not read at full speed, but still images fairly quickly considering.

I have checked the partial clone and I can see some working data.

any Suggestions please :D

Agreed, it almost certainly needs translator regeneration. It's a pretty quick fix for someone with PC-3000. Probably only cost you $400-$500 to have them do it.
