VSC of WD help

June 9th, 2015, 21:19

hi, guys. I try to read the ram of WD by sending the VSC. I remember the action code of VSC to read ram is 0xD or 0x13. But I am not sure. Both these two command won't result. Can anybody help me? Thanks

Code 0x0D reads the "RAM table".

Thanks, fzabkar. I read it. There is one thing confusing me for long. I don't know what is the difference between 'Read Ram table' and 'Read Ram'. In the tool WDR, there is a Memory Table. Is this the same with the Ram table?
Thank for your help. :)

Almost the same. RAM Table is the ordered presentation of RAM.
