Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Greetings
I had a drive with heads stuck on platter. There were two reading heads on a single platter. We moved the head stack while rotating the platter but it was stuck really hard and the top reading heads slider got left on the platter. I'm looking for safer ways of removing stuck sliders from platters. So far I have read about using fishing lines, tweezers, heat guns and soaking the platters in a special M3 liquid that is used for fire prevention?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you for your time
